If you want to take a page or a block offline but keep the page in EpiServer, then you can expire the content .

  1. Open the page or the Block (Block via Edit mode, not Quick edit)
  2. Open the 'Tools' dropdown and click 'Manage Expiration and Archiving'.

3. Choose either a date or simply click the option 'Now'. In order to make sure there are no conflicts with timezones, choose a day in the past. 

4. If you wish to make your content visible again, use the button 'Remove Expiration' indicated in blue on the screenshot below.
