This lecture discusses all aspects of soft contact lens fitting to help practitioners decide which contact lenses to select for their patients. Understanding patient requirements and lifestyle and aligning those requirements with appropriate contact lens for each individual patient. Comfort, Vision and Handling can be evaluated by the patients when trialling the contact lenses, however other considerations such as breathability and tear replenishment may also need to be considered by eye care practitioners. As contact lens materials evolve and a wide variety become available, practitioners need to discern which material properties contribute to contact lens performance and on-eye experience and why it is vital that all contact lens wearers are informed of improved technologies as they become available.
