HOYA's most advanced myopia control spectacle lens.

MiYOSMART iQ

Introducing MiYOSMART iQ

A new era in myopia control.

Most spectacle lenses simply help your child see clearly. While they correct vision, they don't help manage how myopia progresses over time - that's why HOYA created MiYOSMART.

Backed by years of clinical research, D.I.M.S. Technology established MiYOSMART as a leading myopia management solution. MiYOSMART iQ builds on D.I.M.S. Technology foundation with a Triple Enhanced Design (DIMS TED) that further refines the optical configuration. It’s the innovative solution for controlling myopia progression in an easy, safe, effective and non-invasive way.¹⁻⁵

Did you know myopia progression can be controlled, not only corrected?

MiYOSMART iQ stops myopia progression,* on average, in the first 12 months of wear¹˒²

The science behind MiYOSMART iQ

How MiYOSMART iQ helps control myopia progression

Three enhancements.
One smarter spectacle lens.

MiYOSMART iQ spectacle lenses use D.I.M.S. Technology with a Triple Enhanced Design (DIMS TED).

It has two zones working together:

  • A clear zone that gives your child sharp vision
  • A treatment zone that delivers a defocus signal to slow myopia progression³,⁴

Activated: Continuously activating the part of the retina most responsive to myopia control signals

Powerful: A higher defocus power gives a stronger signal to slow myopia progression

Extended: An extended treatment zone to ensure more of their visual field receives the myopia control signal

Clinical results that change what's possible

MiYOSMART iQ spectacle lenses have been evaluated in a randomised controlled clinical trial in children aged 4 to 12 years old. These are the most impressive results from D.I.M.S. Technology to date.1,2,6

→ Stop myopia progression*, on average, in the first 12 months of wear1,2

→ 9 out of 10 showed no clinically relevant myopia progression* in the first 12 months of wear1,2

→ MiYOSMART iQ is HOYA's first spectacle lens reported to control myopia progression in children across a wide age range as young as 4 years of age.1,2,6

Setting a new standard.

Clear vision that keeps up

MiYOSMART iQ spectacle lenses are now available with an optimized lens design, taking optical quality to the next level.

Clear, comfortable vision for active days

Their eyes are constantly in motion, shifting focus from books and screens to friends, sports, and play. Thanks to FreeForm technology, MiYOSMART iQTF is engineered to keep up by providing comfortable vision, enabling clear sight in all directions and supporting children’s daily activities with confidence - at school, at home, and on the move.⁷

Thinner lenses that boost confidence

MiYOSMART iQTF spectacle lenses are designed with flatter lens curvatures, enhancing aesthetics by reducing edge thickness by up to 10% compared to standard spectacle lenses⁷, helping your child wear them with confidence.

Spectacle lens designed for childhood, built to last

MiYOSMART iQ with S.P.A.R.K. Coating.

Children are always on the go - exploring, playing, rarely stopping to wipe them clean. To them, glasses shouldn’t get in the way. That’s why children need glasses that offer peace of mind: eyewear they’ll happily wear all day, day after day, designed to match their active lifestyle, while helping to control myopia progression.
Enhance scratch resistance for everyday bumps and knocks — now up to 50% more resistant than the previous MiYOSMART generation⁸

Repel smudges, fingerprints, and dust, while resisting water up to five times better than the previous MiYOSMART generation8,9  ; helping spectacle lenses stay clean.

Ensure easy cleaning even after daily wiping, for nearly 3 years of typical use8,9  And thanks to enhanced scratch resistance, withstand everyday wear and help reduce the risk of vision disturbances caused by scratches.

Enable advanced anti-reflective performance by allowing more light to pass through while reducing distracting glare and reflections⁸

Protect children’s eyes — which are more vulnerable to UV light than adults’ — with S.P.A.R.K. coating that blocks 100% of harmful UV rays from the front while reducing glare and reflections⁸

Because childhood should be about seeing clearly, not worrying about glasses.

Protect your child's eyes when outdoors

MiYOSMART iQ spectacle lenses are also available with photochromic technology

MiYOSMART iQ Chameleon: an all-in-one solution for any time and any place.

Children may find it inconvenient to change their spectacles every time they step outdoors. MiYOSMART iQ Chameleon spectacle lenses do it automatically for them.

Using the same D.I.M.S. Technology as MiYOSMART, they help control myopia and slow its progression,1,2,10,11  and quickly adapt to the varying level of light, providing your child with as much protection as needed at any time and place.12

When it comes to your child's future, waiting is not an option.

*Clinically relevant myopia progression defined as Spherical Equivalent Refraction change equal to or superior to -0.50D over 12 months of wear. Outcomes for myopic children aged 4 to 12 years. They may vary per age group and other parameters at the start of MiYOSMART iQ treatment.
