HOYA revamps Eye-M-Growing (EMG) kids program

Myopia and other eye conditions are best managed early on to avoid long-term vision issues.

That’s why it’s important to encourage your patients to start eye exams for children as soon as six months, to pay attention to any early symptoms of vision problems, and to make them aware of all of the opportunities out there for protecting their children’s eyes.

At HOYA Vision Care, we take children’s vision seriously. We’ve recently taken our legacy kids program, Eye-M-Growing (EMG), and revamped it for more availability and more premium products.

Here’s what you need to know about the new EMG program, what it includes, and how you can use it to improve the lives of your patients who are children.

What is EMG?

EMG is HOYA’s kids program catered to children up to 16 years old. The program ultimately offers children a multi-pair lens solution at a reduced cost with an enhanced warranty.

This is great news for parents who want to be cost-effective while preventing myopia and other eye conditions for their children. It’s also great news for the ECP, who is looking for better ways to serve patients and become a trusted resource for cost-conscious eye care – especially since the EMG program grows with the child as they get older.

What’s included in the Eye-M-Growing program?

We’ve streamlined our portfolio to offer clear, photochromic, and polarized options for all of our lens designs, and we’ve added 1.60 index.
